How Stock Gifts Support Our Work
Gifts of stock provide flexible funding that allows Maxwell’s Toy Box to respond to real-time needs at our partner hospitals and support families navigating childhood cancer. These gifts help us plan ahead, purchase supplies proactively, and sustain our programs throughout the year.
Flagship Impact

Toys for Joy is the heart of Maxwell’s Toy Box.
Stock gifts help fund year-round toy restocks at our partner children’s hospitals, filling a critical gap when hospital toy supplies run low or run out entirely. This ensures nurses and child life teams always have toys available for children undergoing cancer treatment.
Support through stock donations also allows us to expand this program to serve additional hospitals and reach more children over time.

Stock gifts may also support our Family Support Program, which provides direct relief to families facing financial strain during cancer treatment.
This program offers gas and grocery gift cards, along with toys for children in treatment and their siblings. Families are referred through hospital social workers to ensure support reaches those with the greatest need.
A Note on Flexibility
If you choose to donate stock to Maxwell’s Toy Box, you may:
Designate a gift to a specific program, or
Allow your gift to be used where the need is greatest at the time it is received
Both options help ensure your legacy has a meaningful, lasting impact.
