  • We’re grateful for any new toys you’re able to share. Here are the items that are most helpful for children in treatment:

    • LEGO sets and building kits

    • Dolls and playsets

    • Play-Doh kits and sensory toys

    • Cars, trucks, and trains

    • Action figures

    • Board and card games

    • Craft or activity kits (non-messy)

    • Puzzles (24-500 pieces)

    • Small pretend-play items (kitchen sets, doctor kits, tool sets)

  • Yes, hospitals have strict safety rules. We’re not able to accept:

    • Stuffed animals or plush toys

    • Used or opened toys

    • Handmade toys/Items

    • Toys with weapons or fighting themes (including Nerf-style toys, play guns, or swords)

  • We’ll provide you with everything you need, including a labeled toy bin, an optional donation box, and a custom flyer with your logo. Toy drives can run for a weekend, a week, or the whole month, whatever fits your schedule.

    When your drive ends, just let us know and we’ll coordinate pickup or drop-off.

  • No need to wrap anything. Hospital staff check every toy before it’s given to a child, so leaving items unwrapped actually helps us move them into the right hands faster.

  • Yes, we do! Teen gifts are always appreciated and often in short supply. Card games, puzzles, journals, craft kits, and small LEGO sets are all great options.

  • Yes to both! You can ship items through our Amazon Wishlist, and Maxwell’s Toy Box is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donation receipts are available upon request.

  • Yes, absolutely! Some people prefer to donate online, allowing us to purchase the toys we’re running low on. If that’s easier for you, you can use our secure link here.

    All donations go directly toward buying toys for children in cancer treatment, and we’re happy to provide a receipt.
