Yes! Maxwell's Toy Box is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 99-1719585). Your donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. You will receive a donation receipt for your records.
100% of your donation goes directly to children in cancer treatment. We are entirely volunteer-run, which means every dollar funds toys, Joy Packages, gas cards, and grocery cards for families. We have earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid, the highest level of accountability recognition.
We deliver toys and Joy Packages to four partner hospitals across the greater Chicagoland area: Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, Lurie Children's Hospital, and Comer Children's Hospital. Our deliveries go directly to children ages 0 to 19 receiving cancer treatment, on their chemo and infusion days when they need it most.
