About Maxwell's Toy Box

Built by a cancer mom.
For every family that didn't have what we didn't have.

In March 2023, our son Max was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age two. Six months into his cancer treatment, surrounded by the reality of what families face inside those hospital walls, we founded Maxwell's Toy Box. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit delivering toys, Joy Packages, and direct financial relief to children in cancer treatment year-round, at hospitals across Illinois.
